The Best Poem I've written so far in my short career

The man looked at the rope with a strong, stubborn distaste
He said "I can do this on my own in a greater haste"
So he began climbing the mountain alone with his flawed logic
He climbed on his own until he grew tired, lost, and sick
So he swallowed his pride and looked for the rope, but it wasn't in sight
So now he's stuck on the mountain, tortured with knowing he wasn't right

One of the first poems I've ever written

Do you even have a brain?
Your speech lacks logic and reason
I swear you'll drive me insane
You get worse every season
Do you like to cause me pain?
Do you even have a heart?
Your mother has stolen mine
I pray, one day you'll depart
If you'd never return I'd be fine
You've bored me from the start
Do you even have a soul?
If so, you should search it
We should've tied you to that pole
and left you there to sit
wallowing in a self-loathing hole

Christmas is over but...

All I want for Christmas is for you to get off my back
You ignore my progress and exaggerate things I lack.
I'm Dashing through the snow of bigotry
While I question my every somniloquy.
Its beginning to look a lot like I'll never learn
My Peter Pan Complex fills me with concern.
